FAQ
What is a research fee?
A research fee is an additional cost for work on media our writers are not familiar with. The fee accommodates the time taken to research a series for a roleplay, story, character letter, custom prompt list, etc.
How do you calculate research fees?
Based on the hours of time required to go through the entirety or parts of the selected media. For example, we charge $1.50 CAD ($1.10 USD~) per 40 - 50 minute episode of a television show. Movies are $5 CAD ($3.50~ USD) flat.
Is there any media you will not research or write?
Yes. Our writers reserve the right to decline any media that contains sensitive topics or content that they do not wish to view. Please provide suitable content warnings for potentially sensitive/distressing material. If you do not and our writers have to stop watching for such reasons, you will not be refunded.
