We believe some additional context regarding this order is necessary. Early in the process, it became apparent that two separate orders had been placed, resulting in duplicate shipping charges. Although this issue did not originate on our end, we issued a refund for the excess amount. There was also a delay in processing the e-transfer refund due to a misspelling in the email address provided. Once we were notified that the transfer had not gone through, the issue was corrected within hours.

Additionally, we acknowledge the delay in completing the commission itself. This delay was the result of an internal mistake, compounded by unexpected personal and health-related circumstances. While we understand that this does not eliminate the frustration caused, we sincerely apologize for the extended turnaround time. The responsibility for this delay rests with us.

Regarding the plush itself, this is the type of work that was advertised and delivered. The colours were selected using Noelle's Light World palette in an effort to remain faithful to the source material. While we understand why you're upset about the ears not being separated on the plush, ears are almost always sewn as part of the body rather than separately with our orders. This is because ears, hands, feet and tails all tend to be "high-traffic" grabbing places on dolls. Sewing them on separately may have caused structural weakness and potentially more issues down the road. This style is shown in other dolls, barring specific requests otherwise, including dolls that the buyer saw as examples.

If there were concerns regarding the colours or construction choices, Bee would have been more than happy to discuss possible adjustments. These concerns were not raised until after the review had been posted. Had these issues been brought to our attention directly, we would have gladly discussed solutions, including accepting a return and remaking the plush at no additional charge.

We also take accusations of scamming very seriously. We have retained records of our full correspondence and remain happy to review them directly. Our goal has always been to provide the commissioned item as agreed and address any concerns throughout the process.

Considering this review has received significant attention relative to others on our site, we felt it was important to provide additional context and clarify our perspective on the situation. We also recognize the impact that public reviews can have on independent artists and small creators, which is why we believe transparency and open communication are important.
